Tourqe Converter

Well i just put in a new Throttly body, turns out mine was from a s10 pickup..... (not good) so i got the right one for my truck and now it has like 2x more power and the cruise even works now . well i used to have the TQ wired up to this switch, but now that it is right i dont need to switch anymore, i went to put it back to stock and i have no power coming to the TQ converter any more... it works when i have it hooked up to a switch but not automaticly

 

Could this be caused from a TPS? i really have no idea what could cause this since before the switch it worked like a champ.

Man, thats awesome that you got the right tb on that beast! I am looking at getting a bored out tb (75mm) for my truck! From experience it gives you a nice power increase almost like you experienced when you put the correct tb on there!

i really wish i could get my TQ Convertor to lock up....

 

if anbody needs any pictures, more info, whatever please ask i really want to get this fixed.

Are you talking about the kick down cable ? If so it probably needs adjusted . Run it by a transmssion shop and they can adjust it in a couple of mins to where it needs to be and probably wont charge much at all to do it.

no.... the TQ converter inside the tranny. i have no power going into the plug to engage it for some reason.

 

yea i adjusted that right away.
