Gm Loyalty Cash

So today marked the return of GM customer loyalty cash, which I would assume is good news for those of us in the market for a new truck. But, I have no idea how it works, which creates an issue for how I can best use it to negotiate. I looked up as much info as I could, but couldn't find a solid explanation about all the little ins and outs of it. What I need to know is:

 

Can the loyalty cash be combined with the finance (0% for 60 months) offer?

 

Does the cash come out of the dealers pocket or from GM; essentially can I negotiate my price to $xx,xxx and then say, by the way, I also own a 2004 Malibu so I'd like that $2,000 on top of it PLUS the 0% interest.

 

Thanks for anyone who understand this, sadly the GM site doesn't go into that much depth and basically tells you to go ask a dealer for more info.

I got an email from a dealer and said they are offering $2000 Bonus Cash and 2.9 % financing for up to 72 months. Also said that the 2K is an addition to the rebates that are being offered.

You cannot use it with the zero % financing, I tried...even took it all the way to the top at GM customer relations due to the way it read in the email circular...no dice

how do you sign up for the loyalty program?

Per my trip to the dealer today, they showed me the paperwork that says loyalty cash is not stackable with financing this time. They are also running it till 5/30.

 

No need to sign up, just need to show proof you own a gm vehicle. I think direct family counts as well.

So you can't get the loyalty cash with the finance special, which according to the GM site is now 2.9% instead of 0%, but what about the regular $2000 bonus cash which is listed seperately. Anyone know?
