Took Off Chin Spoiler, New Rhino Liner

My dog got a little excited (pissed) at a dog that ran up to my truck and put a nice deep scratch on the top of my bedrail. I was bummed, but decided to make myself feel better by getting a spray in liner. The hive mind recommended line-x and here it is. I really like it.

Also decided to pull of the chin spoiler. I like it from the side, but from the front looks like it has a little bit of a weak chin. I'm going to give it a couple days to grow on me before I put it back on.

Looks good, but why does the thread topic say "Rhino Liner"???

Leave the chin spoiler off...looks WAY better IMO.

Jesus. I better figure out how to edit.

any body read in the manual about what the chin spoiler does? it says that it helps direct air to the radiator and engine for cooling purposes. thats why i have not taken mine off yet...although it looks way better w/o it.

yeah, your prolly right...IMHO it most likely is for the gas mileage of + 0.3 mpg.

Looks great! Got my bed Line-x'd one week after getting the truck...finally put it to good use last weekend by hauling firewood. I told the troops don't be gentle in filling up the bed. That's tough stuff.

I also took off the lower valance last month. It's a definite improvement, aesthetically speaking.

Hmm. Hadn't seen him in here, but glad to hear he's a GM man.

Looks good. The Line-x looks great. I've got the factory Plastic bed liner but, that Line-x looks great. I'm more of a front air dam guy so I like your truck better with the chin on... IMO

I think the thing that is bothering me is the liscence plate sticking down so low. With the lower spoiler on there was a clean line at the bottom. Now the bracket just sort of hangs off the front.
