Putco Chrome Mirror covers. See my sig!!!

 

They are one year old and they are in fair cond. They still look good, but the chrome (fake chrome) is starting to bubble a little bit on the pass side on the inside corner (nearest the pass window...see 3rd pic)

I suppose they might, but that is not why I removed them. I simply don't like them. So I don't see the need to go through the hassle.

My bad, my sincerest apologies to GM, it's board members, employees and all those who hold a vested interest in the company.

 

GM must have used Putco for their fake chrome trim in 2004 and I see Putco has not increased their qualtiy since then.

Update:

 

I just returned these to the store where I purchased them. Putco has a LIFETIME warranty on these. They will not refund my money (understandable) but will replace them for free. They had to order them, when I receive them they are going on ebay.

putco sucks..... never buy anything from them especially door handle covers and mirror caps.....

I wouldn't make that generalization. I had Putco SSTL bed rails on my 2000 since new and they are still like new. I have the same ones on my 2007.

 

I think all chrome ABS plastic is equally cheap. They all share the same mfg methods. At least Putco backs theirs with a lifetime warranty.
