Navigation Radio

I have a 2005 Suburban with the Navigation Radio/DVD entertainment system with the Bose option. I have some spaces in the center counsel just below the climate control and wondered if it is plausible to insert a 6 CD Changer (GM Model) in that center counsel to hook into the Nav Radio. Will it work? If so, what part number for the 6 CD Changer and for the harness I will need to hook it up? Will the Nav Radio automatically recognize the the 6 CD Changer and allow me to just scroll from the single cd to the dvd to the cd changer? Any thoughts are certainly appreciated!

It take a little cutting to get it in, but yes you can do it

I have a Nav sys upgrade in my '03 Tahoe and now in process of putting in a cd changer. My problem is when I pulled the outer pocket (where it covers the changer), the inner pocket where the slave mounts to, there's a mold piece with a hole (about 2" wide) protruding downward so the unit can't even slide in all the way.

Can you give a play by play on the "little cutting to get it in" scenario. I'd really appreciate it, also it looks like there's no mounting holes to mount it as well.

Thanks in advance,

Ron

Oops sorry, I meant michigansilver03.
