Gibson Side Exit Exhuast

Has anyone ever installed one and how do they sound? I'm looking for pictures or any kind of info. I can get a used one with 1500 miles or so on it for $350. Its a catback stainless exhuast. I'm not sure if I like how it will look exiting from the front of the rear tire. Any suggestions would be great and is that a fair price? Thanks

350 sounds like an ok price... had one on my old truck for a total of 3 days (wrecked truck) but i liked they way it sounded in those few days. bolted up perfectly and had a nice growl to it.

There is one guy on here who put it on his truck, try searching, don't think he had any pics. but he was satisfied for the money, nice sound and power. i think he noteded that there is a minor pitch change when going from 8 to 4 if you have afm, but nothing to worry about if you have your music on. 350.00 isn't bad if the whole kit is stainless steel, but it runs for 324 brand new on ebay for the aluminized one with the stainless steel tip.

I have a Magnaflow Dual Side exit exhaust and love it aside from when it goes into 4 cyl. mode it's just a really low deep grumble. As far as throwing stuff on your wheels, not really. you can tell a slight discoloration but nothing that doesn't wash off its alot harder to keep the tips clean. there is always rocks and dirt getting thrown at them and some things just wont come off.
