Transmission Issue

Hello,

My truck has developed a nasty little problem. It will shift really hard into 1-2 and get progressively smoother as the shift goes along. Now it won't do this all the time, only happens after the trans temp gets to 150-175 which is optimal temp. Now it will occasionally throw out a P0894 Code which is Transmission Component Slipping. Oh and if it starts to shift hard, I can pull over and turn the truck off then restart it not even 30 seconds later and it will shift perfectly fine until I get some miles on it again, then it starts over. Now I know that the 4L60e's have a bad shift problem and I have read some places that replacing the Speed Sensors (in and out) or the Throttle Sensor (not sure why that would have an issue) could work, I've also read that replacing the Valve body or the TCC would work as well.

Now I've got my truck scheduled to go into the dealer on Friday at 3, but I kinda need it and was wondering if there was something I was overlooking or if it's a known problem! Thanks again,

Drew

-Edit-

Oh and I forgot it's a 2006 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 ext cab SB. It's got a 6.0L with an automatic and 4.10 gears. No changes to tires, I did at one point have a programmer on it, but have since taken it off. And I believe that it is a 4L80E transmission.

sounds like a valving issue - like something sticking. However it could also be an electric or sensor problem. I think I would let Mr. Goodwrench look at it.

definetly sounds like valving...they have a program to run in the GM tech 2 where they can cycle the valves and clean out any debris. That might help

Hey, thanks for the replys.

Now for the weird bit, I took my truck in and got it back today (4-29) and it says that they replaced a harness, two valves, an F-Valve, the Valve solenoid, and the fluid. I drive my truck out to another city on the highway and boom! It starts doing the exact same thing....
