How To: For Tortion Bars

I would like a how to for the tortion bars. Is there on here anywhere. What bolts to crank, what direction to crank them, pics ect...

Crank them in to raise it (to the Right) , crank them out to lower it(turn them to the left) . I recomend counting the turns, raising it about half of what you are looking to acheive, then drive it and remeasure it. they tend to raise a little more after you drive them a little. At least thats been my experince. I have been told it sometimes can cause problems if you crank them all the way in. If your shocks are toping out you should crank them back down a little.

They are pretty self-explanitory. Just lie under the truck for a while and look at there configuration and purpose, then wrench away. When I did mine, I did three turns on one side, then switched to the other. Of course, after the test drive and the right height, drive to your nearest alignment shop. I went to a shop that does tires, they tend to offer better service than say WalMart.... The guys did a before and after print out for me to show what the full story was, needless to say, that has become my favorite shop.

+1 on the alignment. I waited a little while after doing mine. Luckily nothing broke. But man was the alignment off.
