Parking Light Lense Qustion

i have a 88 with 4 head lights now. i have a chance to get a set of dimond cut park lenses but box says they fit 94 to 98 . but they have same attchment set up 4 screws per lense whats the diffrence and will they fit my 88 ? is it something to do with how the bulbs attach?

The grille and the light opening is different... I can't remember what the deal was but later lights stick out too far I think. Might be able to modify them to fit?
