Acdelco Oil Filters Are Now Availabe At Walmart

All of the big box stores sold AcDelco for a long time.

Then, one day, AcDelco pulled out of them all.

They were still available from the dealers and the trades houses and some main line auto parts stores but at a much higher $$$.

 

They didn't have a large selection, but then, GM has been standardizing the choices.

I stocked up at $3.28 each.

AC's are good, Fram is junk. I personally use Purolator. Only place I can find them around here is at Advance Auto. If Walmart would carry them it would be nice. I buy my oil @ Walmart because it is cheaper for a 5 qt jug than you can get a gallon jug at the parts stores. jmo

So Ac delco products that are sold at wal-mart are different than those sold to autozone, other auto stores and GM dealers. What good business sense does this make? Or are you saying a wal-mart supplier cheapens their product across the board to all retailers and therefore any company that sells to wal-mart sells junk? So I shouldn't buy tires from Goodyear, Cooper or Bf Goodrich, Oil from Mobil 1 or Pennzoil or any other product line that sells to multiple retailers since they sell to walmart too?

Ok, I could see if AcDelco was making the Super Tech oil filters for Walmart and packaging them in Walmart packages. There likely would be some comprise.

But to sell the AcDelco box in Walmart in an AcDelco box.

I doubt if the AcDelco filter would be comprised.

No one said that. We are speculating about the AC Delco filter. It is a known fact that some manufacturers make a specific item for Walmart and that item is of lesser quality then their other items. And it is not across the board, it is exclusive to Walmart. Ever see those commercials that say "made exclusively for Walmart" or something similar? That's what I'm talking about. Go ahead and do some research on it.

Yeah, Ive been buying ACs at autozone, and when i ripped an old one apart, it looked identical to one purchased at the dealer, so I have no problem buying the ACs at autozone. I wont buy one from walmart though, most of their crap is exclusive junk.
