Hey Guys!

About 2 weeks ago, I sold my Daily Driver car-a 1999 Grand Prix GT. I have recently been looking for another "fixer-upper"; something I can drive and fix up at the same time.

Considering the economy, the auto market as a whole, and prices on fuel, I'm looking to only spend maybe $4000 max. A good cheap sedan...or a full size, older C/K pickup??

Yes...that's correct. A dealer-friend of mine (I've purchased cars from this guy before...he always gives me sweet deals) has this truck in inventory.

Opinions?? Lots of miles, I'm seeing some seat-wear, and I noticed the Z71 stickers do not match...

I look at those pics, and see TONS of potential.

Wow...this truck is worth more than I thought!!

Kelly Blue Book $5100 private party, $3500 trade in value, $7200 Retail Value!!

I was thinking of offering $3k and see what he says...

That seems like alot for a truck in that condition. Did you factor in the wear and tear along with the price? I would say offer somewhere around 5500. With that said, I don't buy/sell cars for profit.
