Mr Robbins Died

I just found out he died this week.

Mr. Baskin died many years ago.

 

I grew up with the BR store up the street as well as the HOJO not far away.

BR had over 1000 flavors plus the C/S/V.

 

Most of the kids I went to school worked there at one time or another.

They could eat all they wanted.

Which, after 2-3 weeks was about all they could handle.

Ah, I'll jump in the WayBack Machine and tell a story of when I was young and would go to the dentist who had his office on the top floor/professional building above the food court at the mall. Well when you were done with your appointment, he'd give out coupons for Baskin Robbins, and there we went.

He made a small investment to ensure he had business for years to come. Thats good business sense.
