4x4 Electrical Problem

I have a problem with my 4x4 on my blazer. It blew a few fuses, then I checked the amps over it and it was pulling almost 27 and its only a 10 amp fuse. I disconnected the 4x4 selector switch and it still blew fuses, I checked the sensors on the front diff and they seem to be fine as far as I know, but it still doesnt work, I cannot find any shorts/cuts in the wires. And for some reason the gas guage doesn't work, but that's a computer problem and works with a new fuse until it blows. Also when I kind of "get on it" and like go over 55ish and left off it makes this kind of howling sound and it either stops when I come to a complete stop and you can feel like it pop back in. Or back when my 4x4 wasn't blowing fuses when I slowed down enough and put it in 4x4 High it would stop. So if anybody has any ideas please feel free to give me them cause I'm starting to draw blanks and I don't want to pay somebody a lot of money I don't have to say they can't fix it.
