Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls

Can the audio controls be added to a sle1 package that does not have them on the steering wheel?

It has been a while since I have seen a topic about this, and IIRC it is possible, but you need the clockspring. If you do a search for it you can know for sure, but I'm sure someone will chime in on this.

 

EDIT: What year is it? The easiest way to do this is to get one out of a wrecked truck and install it.

Sorry. Both are 07 NBS. Also interested in adding the full DIC functions. I know I have seen a post on this in the past but cant find it now. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know if the DIC addon will work with an Regular cab SLE1 package? or did they only run the wires for the extended/crew cabs?

DIC worked fine in my regular cab NBS 07
