16" Aftermarket Rim On A 2006 4x4?

Just wondering would an aftermarket set of black streetlock wagon wheels fit an 06 Sierra 1500 4x4? I've been looking and looking and cannot find them in a 17 and I need to get tires here pretty soon. I know a factory 16" from a 2001 will not fit my truck but it looked like with just abit of offset of a rim designed slightly different they would clear.

Starting in 2005 GM used larger brake calipers on the front so your stuck using 17" rims. Using the incorrect offset will cause accelerated wheel bearing wear.

Stick with the 17" and you will be fine.

What do you mean by "wagon wheels"? Do you have a picture of them in 16s?

Stock backspacing is 5 in. on 16x7 in. width. 16x8 width and 4 1/2 in. backspacing, would fit good, but any wider, will go past, the fenders. If the 16's don't fit, just use the advise, for 17's on the backspacing.
