Tonneau Cover - Soft With Bedliner?

Hi, i found a soft tonneau cover in http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com for 445$

I have installed a BedLiner. Do you know if can i install this? over the bedliner?

Not sure about the bedliner, I am sure someone here will chime in on that part of your question, but...

 

 

DO NOT buy the GM accessories soft tonneau cover. It is made by Access for GM, but it is NOT the same quality. Yet, it IS the same price. When I ordered my truck, I asked the dealer to include an Access brand tonneau cover and he tried to tell me the GM one was EXACTLY the same since it was made by Access. I said "fine, but if it's not, you are replacing it with an Access brand before I take delivery". He agreed. Well, when I picked up my truck, it had an Access cover on it. He told me he looked at the GM one and told the tech to put it back in the box and put the Access one on. He knew I would not have been satisfied with it. He didn't even bother to ask me if it was OK. They were the exact same price too (about $450 iirc).

ok, I have installed A HARD PLASTIC bedliner.

 

When can i Bouy the access one? is it good?

Does it sound with the air when you are driving?

I would imagine it does. It would probably require gluing velcro strips down the bed rails.

Hi heres a photo of my rear BedLiner, I need to know if theres a tornneau that fit? without drilling it. Both the Access and the Extang look good!

I like the way that Extang Revolution looks.

 

I cannot call to EXTANG to ask, beacuse i'm not Englsih Spoken. Remember I live in Venezuela!

Since your bedliner appears to be an "over the rails" model, the Access nor the Truxedo (the two brands I'm familiar with) would NOT fit your truck.

I'm not aware of a Tonneau cover that will work with an over the rail liner.

I have the Extang Tuff Tonno, and an over the rail liner. It works, I just had to break out the dremel and cut some holes.

While not completely true, it would definitely take some modifications to get our tonneau cover to work with an over the rail bed liner. I've attached a pic of our clamp that holds the tonneau mounting rail onto your truck bed.

 

To get this to fit, you would have to cut holes in your bed liner, as well as securing the nut to the clamp that the bolt screws into, since you won't be able to get a wrench in there to hold it.

 

Not impossible with an aluminum welder and a dremmel tool, but not a modification for the faint of heart.

Extang will not fit unless you modify (cut) your bedliner, as they have clamps which hold it to box.
