Handheld Tuner Showdown

OK. I am going to get either the Diablosport Predator or the Superchip Flashpaq. I can't decide. both have the same features and performance gains, but SC is 30$ cheaper. someone with real life numbers help me out here.

check E-bay for NEW predator units, there's a place called west-coast-auto-performance that sells NEW predators for around $306 depending on your model.

 

predator also has forum specifcly for GM-gas users, superchips does not.

Predator allows you to view live data, and in some applications log live data and upload it to your computer. superchips does not

Predator allows you to tune and modify multiple perameters, superchips does not.

The original superchips handheld and the Flashpaq, also made by superchips, are 2 completely different units. Superchips does have a dedicated forum and website for the Flashpaq. The flashpaq also has data logging capabilities, such as 0-60 times, air/fuel data, etc. And you can modify various parameters within the Flashpaq - however, they are limited to somewhat more basic items than the Predator. Such as shift pressure, shift points, speed limiter, etc.
