Red Blinking Light , Radio

I have a red blinking light next to the cassette power knob.

Vehicle is turned off this light blinks,

Stops when ignition is on.

Cant find anything in the manual about it,

Radio works fine , cd , cassette , all works.

How do I turn this light off?

2005 Sierra 4 door.

Its the radio protection light. When it blinks its just letting you know that its locked to the vehicle.

 

EDIT: You can't turn it off. There is nothing to worry about.

Thank you sir, Its funny I have never noticed it untill this week,

And I park it always in a gararge with no light , many times entering the garage in the dark.
