Anyone Have 275/65/20?

I'm not asking if they will fit, as I intend to make them fit. I am just curious to see what that tire size looks like. Nitto makes a Terra Grappler in an E load rating in this size, and I am very interested.

I'm running 275-60-20, 33" tires with 2" level kit and they still rub my mudflaps.

Thanks for the input, I take it you have not seen anyone with 275/65?

WOW... E rated 20s should make your truck ride like a sherman tank running over concrete curbs. Good luck!

It already rides too much like a car, so I don't mind a little added stiffness.

FYI, I found out today that 275/65/20 is a stock size for the new Ford Superduty, so I was able to get a look at what I am getting into. I should have them mounted in a few weeks.

Cool... post up some pics once it's done. I have 20s and wouldn't mind having something a little taller.

How are you planning on doing that?

They probably will, but depending upon the width, it may not be "recommended." Unless it changed for the 900's, the stock wheels are 7.5 inches wide. You aren't supposed to run 285 mm wide tires on anything less than a 8 inch wheel.

Now I do know that GM does have a 8 inch wide wheel, I just can't remember which one(s).

yea 07's are the same way... they have a ton of room in the wheel wells... on a ford f150 we were able to get 35's with no rub with a level kit and supersprings on the back lol

Leveling kit, and some trimming. I figure it will rub on the inner liners a bit, but I will trim to suit. I'm not to worried.

Fords in general can use bigger tires. My Dad has an 04 f250 SD and we got BFG AT 35's on his with a 2" leveling kit. It is too bad they are crap vehicles with even worse warranties. Don't even get me started on the warranty issues I have had with my 05 f450 work truck.
