Hey all! Trucker Mike here. Just picked up an 08 Silvy on Friday. Heavily optioned LT1. Traded my 02 Impala in. I used to have a ZR2 S10 that I traded for a 95 BMW 540i. I am an Admin on ZR2USA.com. I drive over-the-road for a living, hence the name. Some of the ZR2 guys have Silvy's, so we'll see if they pop in to say "Hi".

Anyways, here's the new truck.

Summit white w/ Ebony cloth

5.3 w/ AFT & FF

4x4

Sunroof

Remote start

Towing pkg

20" wheels (already changed)

Undercoat, rub & buff, teflon interior treatment added

Picked her up at 12pm.

+1 for the white

22s are not my cup of tea (especially on a 4by) but looks good.

Welcome mike and how is the industry treating you? I used to run my own trucking company but overhead costs made me shift directions and now I am working as a freight Broker.

Nice truck, and welcome to the site. Those tires look like they could use a little more meat though.

I'm guessing despite the name of your club, that you don't go 4 wheeling a lot...

Thanks for the comments & welcome.

The truck will sit 27-28 days out of the month, and will be a street queen for now (probably forever).

And 4x4 doesn't mean "offroad". It's a branch of the main group for those of us with 4x4's, cuz no one in SD has 2WD. The 22's are my summer shoes. Winter shoes will be a set of 17's on BFG AT KO's. If I ever do lift it, it'll just be to level it out.

:::makes note to research leveling kits:::

Ground Zero is actually Ground Zero Motorsports, comprised of:

Ground Zero Racing which includes 2 GTO's, 3 EVO's, 3 Cobalt SS's, 2 350Z's, 2-3 240SX's, 3 Corvette's, my 540i, some WRX's, Mustangs, Camaro, FC & FD RX7's, and a bunch more.

Ground Zero Motorcycle which includes 5-6 modified motorcycles & 1 Raptor 660r.

Ground Zero Ladies with 5-6 chicks that are the wives & GF's of our members.

Ground Zero 4X4 which includes my truck, an 04 Ram 2500 (lifted), and an 04 F250 PSD.

We're just a bunch of friends, with a common theme decal.

Welcome Mike. I too am a new member.

Just picked up an 08 Sierra Crew in White.

I'd be afraid I might lose a white truck in SD in the winter.

Here in Arizona white is pretty common. (You can still touch them in the summer)

Very nice bro, seems like you guys have it together. Truck looks good. My cuz used to have a Busa. I got a 06 1000 that I rock out on.

Nice pics.

Looks good although I'd suggest removing the 4X4 stickers and maybe grabbing some color-matched handles and mirror caps to set it off.

22's are fine by me

I can almost guarantee you those rims won't see the snow or harsh winter. he'll swap out the rims he had stock.

EDIT: I see Mike already addressed that
