I want to buy an auxiliary tranny cooler for 2008 Tahoe. They put trailer hitches standard, but don't put the cooler on. I want a factory style that bolts on without modifications. Where is a god place to buy and the part number please.

There's one for sale right now in the For Sale section. Its for an NBS Sierra, but I wonder if its the same part number as the Tahoe/Yukon?

Another good tool is to do a search in here about it. There has been a lot of discussion on the cooler subject that might be good reading.

Chet,

You can certainly add an OE cooler but you will be going through a great deal of expense in doing this.

The OE Cooler is a stacked plate style cooler approx 5" x 11" x 3/4" and is avail from many suppliers. The lines and the connections are specific to the OE and are not avail in the aftermarket.

I have installed aux coolers on every vehicle I have owned since 1983 and have never had an issue using a good quality aftermarket kit.

If you will send me your e mail via a private message, I will send you some pictures of the upgrade cooler on my Yuk XL.

There are also some guys on here who recenlty installed an aftermarket cooler on a 900 series truck which would be exactly like your application.

Let me know if I can help.
