ok, so i have a few plans for my baby, i just wanted to see what you guys thought i should do for upgrades. i'm into functionality over performance. i was thinking grille guard, a little lift, either new chrome or black powder coated rims, chrome trim, and factory fender flares. but what do ya'll think. i'm not really concerned with price as i am a good finished product.

Your plans sound good, but I wouldn't go too overboard with the chrome. I'd definitely throw a set of lights on the grille guard if you go with one.

Oh, and you've got the factory flares on there already...

I'm not a fan of grill guards, unless they don't have the extensions that go out around the headlights, because nobody builds grill guards for these trucks that are worth the cardboard in which they are shipped. Most of the ones I see, look pretty ridiculous and if anything hits them other than a few bugs then the part that goes out and around the headlight area is just going to bend and then not only are you replacing the grille, but also repairing a dent in the fender or hood when the "guard" bends around and hits it.

:D Ok, I feel better now!

Otherwise, like was said above, I would be careful about going overboard with the chrome. Everything else sounds good

Get the GM rear wheel housing liners. They are a breeze to install and will improve the looks a bunch.

Does GM even make those for the GMT800s?

I'm almost certain that it is only available for the NBS only.
