Need A Little Something - Just Don't Know What

I like the look of my truck, but after my silvy, it just seems like something's missing. somehow to me it just looks sort of unfinished.

 

I like subtle stuff, not really into crazy paint or graphics. Part of what I was thinking about is something like a red/gray pinstripe in the usual location, or a small detail on the door to bring things out. perhaps chrome handle's

 

the only thing different from these pics now is that I have full length bars that reach to the rear wheels instead of stoping at the cab.

 

anybody got any ideas? perhaps a photoshop or 2 with some potentials?

Looks pretty good to me. Maybe you could color-match the handles and mirror caps to help a little bit. You could also lose the Z71 sticker, that would help a lot.

 

I've never been a fan of chrome fender trim so of course I'd suggest removing that but even if you don't, I'd definitely put the black walls out on the tires, that'd refine the look a bit.

 

You could always get a new grill for it. This style is nice. My friend had one and it sits back within the chrome surround so it looks nice and finished.

Blackwalls out, clear corners, color matched mirrors and door handles.

 

Most importantly, get rid of the chrome fender trim, and get some color-matched OEM fender flares.

With the look you seem to be angling towards, I'd say chrome door handles. I think chrome mirror caps would be too much. Chrome trim around the windows ... I'm not sure about that... if they even make it.. But, with the chrome side-steps, bed rails, trim on the door, and fender trim... I think you need some chrome on the doors to kind of tie the rest of it together.

does anyone know if GM still makes the chrome trim for the doors that goes all the way to the bed like in the OBS sierras?

i think it looks nice the way it is now, but chrome handles would look nice, but than so would color matching the door handles and also the side mirrors.

If you get chrome door handles...PLEASE do not get the whole thing in chrome. I think the GMT800 chrome door handles look horrible when the handle and the handle "bucket" are chrome. The colormatched buckets with just the chrome handle look good though.

Chrome mirror covers will add a nice touch.....Chrome tow hooks look awesome too..... They are what you need my friend...

I say chrome handles (painted buckets and chrome handle is my vote) and chrome mirror caps will look nice if you want to keep the chrome going.
