Actually this is a great idea for both companies. Neither Ford nor GM can afford to develop clean paper engines right now. They are both fighting for survival & the current engines Ford & GM produce will not cut it in the future. Hell, they are all gas guzlers that can't make it right now. GM & Ford must break the 30 MPG+ V8 truck engine goal or they will not be around as we know them much longer.

Think of this like the race to make the first H Bomb in WW2. Japs vs. Americans & its winner take all!

They are both fighting for survival & the current engines Ford & GM produce will not cut it in the future. Hell, they are all gas guzlers that can't make it right now. GM & Ford must break the 30 MPG+ V8 truck engine goal or they will not be around as we know them much longer.

GM just needs to talk to some of our younger members who have mastered hydrogen injection instead. I have heard reports on here of 30% increases in MPG with only $20 and a Ball jar! The man was trying to keep us down but we've got smarter people than he does!

And the Japanese are just going to magically pull a 30MPG truck V8 out of their butts in the meantime? I don't know if you've noticed, but NOONE has a V8 fullsize truck getting over 20MPG, US or Japanese.
