Air Deflector Fog Lights

I have a '98 Chevy pickup, which has a damaged air deflector (that black piece mounted below the front bumper), and I want to replace it with a new one that has the cutouts for fog lights. This was part of the Sport package previoulsy offered, but from what I understand it was discontinued after the '97 model year.

 

Has anyone else done this? The parts seem to be readily available. Are the wiring kits available to add this sufficient; they seem to be all "universal" applications? That scares me; maybe GM has a kit for this?
