I went with black because i thought they would looks good with the black plastic trim that covers most of my truck. They are aluminum but they peeled, i got them replaced under warranty. If they peels again i will get aluminum or stainless chrome. i think you just gotta get what you think would look best.

What about a brushed aluminum?

 

I had a nice set on my old '04 Colorado that were a perfect match for the aluminum wheels (dealer installed). I think the chrome is a little too much shine and polish contrasting the aluminum wheels on the new Silverado. Does anybody out there know of something in a brushed aluminum for an '09 crew cab? Failing that I may have to go for the black bars.
