Nelson Vs. Blackbear

I would like to say thanks to all who have posted their opinions and blackbear is the winner by a long shot. I have already recieved three emails from justin and i asked him a question but he hasnt had time to reply and im in need of an answer.

The 400 dollar deposit that is sent for the cables--- since the cost of the tune plus the PCM and TCM is 420 dollars he says that once you return the cables you get the deposit back. Is their any one who knows if he can keep the 400 dollar deposit and i sent him the rest as payment for the tune and modules. Can any-one answer this question for me.

I can't answer your question but I'm about 30 minutes away from you (New Bern) and the cable and scan tool came in yesterday. I hope to start doing some recording tomorrow. I'm sure Justin will get back with you shortly.

man thats pretty cool let me know the difference. it would be awesome if we could share the cable and both get the tune done at the same time but i know that sh#t prolly wouldnt fly with him. How is yourMPG on that truck with the tires and all

Naw, I don't think that Justin would appreciate that. Anyhow, I'm averaging around 16 mpg. My DIC says I'm getting 12mpg but it's wrong.

It is not a problem for you guys to share the cable. Just make sure that you label the tune logs correctly and you are good to go. PM me or Justin if you have any questions.

The MINUTE Justin (or Jenna) let's me know the EFI Live handheld is available, I will be whipping out the credit card. But first I will need to send my computers back to Nelson to get them unlocked.

Sorry Jeff, no updates as of late. Justin talks to the EFILive folks on a weekly basis, so we will be sure to post up as soon as we hear anything.

As far as sharing cables, we have no problem whatsoever, just one of the folks will need to be responsible for the deposit. If you wanted to try to get others to share with you, so you can split the deposit cost, we have no qualms with you posting up on forums to get others to share.
