Additions To The Duramax

I wanted to make a thread just for this truck... I wish I would have dont this with the black truck and its hard to start over which I can always do if I get hungry for some more posts!

 

I have only done 2 new little things for now but some big things are coming! See if you can see what I have done...

yea but I want to level the front first and I dont know if I need the kit or just turn the torsion bars...

yeah it sure is... I am just waiting on my neighbor to take my truck and tint the windows... He said that he would do it!

Gee, I wonder why you like it? Riggs, you should find some of those Caddy wheels like Brian has. They look awesome on the 400's.

the dude that I bought my black truck had an identical chevy to mine that was a 97 and it add 250k at the time

You don't need to buy a whole kit to level your truck out. On my 08 2500HD i just cranked my stock keys about 1 1/2 inches and added extended front shock mounts that I bought off eBay for $42.00 including shipping. Easy to do and saves you from buying new T-bar keys that you don't need!

I'd say some window tint, chrome grille and handles, paint the chrome bumper white, and DEFINETLY slap some 285's under that sob. Personally I'm a fan of the stock wheels, so just tires do the trick for me. Then i'd say your in need of a chip, intake, and an exhaust that gets rid of that stupid DPF, to let thatt engine breathe a little better. Plus to improve mpg's...

How bad did it need the allignment after that?
