So now that the 2-way remote start has been out awhile how does everyone like it, I am still trying to decide if I want an aftermarket remote start or not. How is the distance on starting, also you live in a colder state I would particularly like to hear how it performed last spring while it was still cool out. Thanks for everyones help.

Yea sorry I'm kinda food drunk from a big lunch. I think all the blood designated for my brain is busy helping digest food.

HAHA, I was like that the other day. I wish I was now, but I was finishing something up and the cafe is now closed. Now I will have to run out and grab something. Oh darn, I rode my bike today. Now I will be forced to take a ride on this beautiful day and sit down to eat. YEAYYYYYYYYY!!!!

I think that he meant the GM 2-Way.

Yes, I meant the GM 2-way, I have had many aftermarket remote starts, But if the GM version is just as good or better than an aftermarket I will go with it. THE main problem is that with the extreme cold here in interior Alaska I want to know what kind of quality I am getting before I buy one, I dont want to install the GM version and then have to remove it and replace it with an aftermarket if it doesnt work well.

I've got the GM 2-way installed on both my Sierra and my (read wife's) Acadia. The 2 vehicle function allowed me to consolidate key rings without carrying two remotes. I'm very happy with the distance in either vehicle. I stepped off 300 yds in the Walmart parking lot and was easily able to start the Sierra. I work across the street from where I park on the 6th floor of a parking garage. I start the truck from the lobby of my office. I put them in in June and July, so I can't comment on cold weather starts, but by the time I walk across the street and up 6 flights of stairs, the a/c is blowing very cold. The only complaint would be the size of the fob in my pocket. Compared to carrying two OEM fobs, that's probably not a good complaint either. I'm happy with it.
