Fogs On With Low Beams

I want my fog lights to come on anytime the low beams are on on my GMT-900. I found a couple of good write-ups on here describing how to do this on the GMT-800's. They involved using a diode to connect the 85 pins under the relays in the underhood fuse box. Will this same method work for the 900's? I'm sure someone on here has tried it. Thanks!

Err yeah, I thought the fogs are set up OEM to only come on with the park lights/low beams. They generally shut off when the high beams are turned on.

I would believe the concept is similar between the 800 and the 900, but wires might be routed differently/in different places, I'm not sure.

He means have them come on with the low beams all the time, without having to hit the dash button to turn them on. It can be done on GMT-900s, and the answer is somewhere on this site, though i can't remember where. Hit up the search.

I know if you search on here you will find a topic that has how to jumper out the fogs so they are on with the daytime running lights. I actually took mine and wired them with a switched power source in the fuse box in under the hood. I have it set up so the fogs and parking lights are on all the time.

Thanks geektoad for understanding what I was asking and supplying the link.I read thru the link and there was some good info in there. I have always been more interested in doing something myself than buying a kit so I will be buying a couple of diodes next time I am at Radio Shack. I think that I can run a diode from the 85 pin of the low beam relay to the 85 pin of the fog relay and get the results I want. My only question is whether this will have the fogs on with the DRL's, which it probably will. If so, I will run from the parking lights. Should be an adventure, I'll keep you guys posted after I try it.
