Engine RPM's at idle and in Gear?

Hey guys, I noticed today that at a stoplight my RPM's were about 200 on the tach. When I put it in neutral they were about 550. Is this too low? It's not running bad @ idle or anything, I just was wondering what your RPM's were and if this is too low what do I do to raise the RPM's up a bit.

Thanks for your responses  :music:

200 rpm in gear?  I didn't think it was possible for an engine - any internal combustion engine used in a modern car or truck - to idle that low, at least not smoothly.  My 97 Suburban idles at maybe 600 rpm in gear, maybe a little higher in Neutral or park.
