Duramax/Allison Fluids

Ok, so I was wondering what you think are the best oils/lubricants to use in the Duramax/Allison combo?  

 

Everyone I talk to seems to have a different opinion.

Contact Lucas Oils on fluid for your Allison.  They have the hot ticket on those trannies.

Of course, opinions on oils and fluids are like bellybuttons everyone has one.....  

 

Here's what I use:

 

Engine- Chevron Delo 400 15w-40. I buy it from Wal Mart.

Transmission- Allison Transynd synthetic ATF. Available from any Allison dealer.

Differentials (front and rear)- Amsoil Series 2000 75w-90 synthetic

Transfercase- Allison Transynd

 

For the engine filter, I'm currently using the OEM Champion filter. My local NAPA is now stocking the Wix (NAPA Gold) filter for the Dmax, so I'll use them from here on out.
