05 4l60e Transmission Slip?

Hi,

 

Got a 05 Silverado 4X4. It as the driveline clunk. Starting from stop and sometime while shifting from 2nd or 3rd to 4th I get what I think is a slip from the tranmission. I heard there is a flash update for the 05 transmissions to fix these random slips. How to I go about getting the tranmission flash/updated? (do everyone think this may fix the problem)? One last thing truck as 52,500km and was never abused.

My transmission slipped from a stop (in addition to not staying in overdrive), and it ended up being a shift solenoid, which is a $40 part and easy to install. Might want to check that out.
