Speakers Cutting In And Out

Okay, first I thought it was my XM adapter, so I pulled it out, and it still does it. So I started checking the speakers, and noticed my left door speaker was dead. However, it comes and goes. It seems both door speakers come and go. Also, the door chime seems to come and go as well. I believe all the connections are good, but I am at a loss...

Could be a couple of things. Do you have the Bose system? The intermittent functionality of the speakers and the door chimes (which go through the front left speaker IIRC) seems to indicate a problem with the amplifier.

No, I don't have the Bose system, just the regular system... AM/FM/CD...
