Swap To Hd Brakes ?

I'm getting an 01 Silverado.

 

I've read that the HD trucks have bigger rotors/ calipers but I can't find any info on swapping the HD

components onto my truck, I'd like to just do the fronts.

Its not able to be done. The lug pattern is completely different. You will have to buy a brake setup from an aftermarket company.

I'm talking about the 1500HD, according to this site it still used the same bolt pattern.

Yup, thats correct. As for the size difference, I dunno. I'd have to research that.

From what I quickly skimmed over they are both the same size. Someone can chime in if they find different.
