I personally don't believe in pointless bashing either, but I do have to agree with the last poster. You aren't going to tell me that that was the first thread that bashes another vehicle.

 

That said, IMO that wasn't useless bashing. He stated a design flaw, albeit a well known one, and said how he thought it showed that the rest of the truck was cheaply made as well.

 

I'd put that one in the same category with my Prius thread.

I went in trying to play the game, hoping it would be a good forum and that the Titan would be a good truck (based on my experiences with other Nissans I had owned in the past) Turns out the Titan sucked. I sold it in 4 months and I wasn't there long.

Fuel economy was bad but that wasn't my problem. The front suspension was junk. I leveled it, switched tires and wheels, and the slightest bump would hammer the front bumpstops. It sounded like a bomb going off. There were other issues. Doors shut like the were slamming into a three inch thick wall of jello. The interior had a billion shudders and rattles from new. Add to that... no matter WHAT I did to the truck, it was still butt ugly. The ass view looked like an alien goat...

 

It did have awesome power. That 5.6 OHC V8 is strong as hell and sounded good. Overall they just didn't have much better than 75% execution in their truck program... OH WELL. Live and learn.
