cmstric Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Anybody heard of Velocity wheels? They are a heck of a lot cheaper than others comparible and carry a one year warranty on the finish. They also have like 6 different lines of rims like U2 and Tyfun that are awesome looking. here is a link to the Tyfun rims i like:Tyfun And another : Tyfun #2 Let me here your thoughts because im very skeptical about these being so cheap and all.
DofD Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Never heard of them myself. The websites for their various lines doesn't give too much information. They may be a reseller for an Asian wheel maker.
cmstric Posted October 28, 2008 Author Posted October 28, 2008 There is alot of different websites who sell them including ebay. I just dont know. I mean $700 for 20s is awfully cheap.

But, their website doesn't say where the wheels are made, just that they are an American distributor. Something about the way they put an American flag on their home page seems like they could be over-compensating for something too... like maybe the fact that they're selling cheap Chinese wheels...? Chad : If you want 'em, get 'em... I have my reservations about how "good" the wheels may be or how good of a deal they may be, though.
cmstric Posted October 28, 2008 Author Posted October 28, 2008 Ive decided to pass. Im hoping to get a set of ultra predators another member has for sale. But if that falls through i will just save up for some nice ones. i thought about going all black but my motorcycle is all blacked out so i gotta have some chrome

chuck16 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 They look good but, I think I'd go with the first set as they look easier to clean. Tyfun is that like "tie-fighter"?

Get what you want, not what's on sale..
