Sup I'm Dukers, 16, currently residing in AZ. Joined this community because I've been reading the forums and stuff and wanted to tell you guys how cool and helpful it is.

I started reading the forums and stuff because I'm looking for a new Silverado (or a Sierra for that matter.) I'm pretty sure it's not the place to post what I want or wtb or wtt or whatever, but since I'm a new guy and stuff I guess I'll tell you what I'm looking for. PS I know this isnt the "WTB" Thread.

Currently, I drive a 2007 Black Honda Accord with a full Alpine system and a 12" alpine sub with 15" (lol, i curb checked and my mom bought me new rims.) rims that are similar to these. My mom bought a new 2004 honda pilot after selling her 2001 accord and a 2002-ish grand cherokee after my dad died. The pilot is fine, whatever, i hate driving it, but when it was time for me to get a car, she bought the used 2007 accord. The thing is, she wants it. With only about $200 left to pay on the pilot, i proposed a trade- she can have the accord if i get a Truck (because me, my brother, my uncle, and hunting partners go hunting.. and the accord doesn't cut it.) Now, here are where the questions kinda start, so excuse me if i put these in the wrong forum.

1. It's possible to move the entire system into the new truck that I get, right? (the subwoofer and speaker sizes might be an issue, i already know that.) But Like i can have the stock parts installed back onto the accord and have the original dash and front panel working like before the aftermarket upgrade, right?

(PS, I'm more of a computer modder kinda guy than a car/truck modder kinda guy. I'm actually really interested in how things work and are put together so i'm definately down for learning about stuff. )

2. This is what I'm looking for, any tips/ideas/suggestions/testimonials for the truck specifications are helpful.

Silverado or Sierra (Havent looked at hardly any Sierra's yet..)

Preferably Black or White, that Darker blue or the lame silver wouldn't hurt

2007 or 2008

New or Used

Must be 4x4

Would Like to be Crew Cab, but What are your opinions about Ext Cab?

Whats the room like for Ext cab? opinions?

Dont need any towing, but i'd take it.

I dont know how high they are normally lifted for a 4x4, but should i lift it more?

I wont really need any fancy lookin rims since I'm going to be using it in the dirt and off road and such (Note: A Bro I am not.)

Whats the best spray in bed? Rhino-stuff? idk?

Here's another question, just for me kinda financially, but im open for suggestions.

Think Money-Wise here.. But all suggestions are welcome

3. a. Should I get a NEW 2007 with features I may be happy with, but not extremely happy with?

b. Should I get a USED 2007 with features that are okay and im not esctatic about?

c. Should I get a NEW 2008 with features that are what i want and im extremely happy with?

d. Should I get a USED 2008 with pretty much all I am asking for, but a couple things I wish i had?

Price range would be about the amount my mom trades in her pilot for, which would be about 16k-17k based on KBB

First off, welcome to the site.

The search function would probably answer a LOT of your questions, as many of this has been covered before.

I didn't say the search thing to be a douche (like I do sometimes ), but a lot of this has been covered before, and pretty in-depth too, so you'll get better answers quicker than waiting for everyone to reply to this one. (that's root beer of course, since we're both under age. )

And an all-boys school?

Central Phoenix. I like it because there's not too much bad weather besides the dry heat.. no hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, floods, etc. where i'm at.

And about it being super hot, My football team (yes, from the all boys high school haha) was on during half time of the 2nd and 3rd sunday night football games. we were featured as one of toyota's line of scrimmage "Gutsiest teams in america" for playing in the heat.
