Photobucket removed one of my videos, it says it violates their TOS. What gives? They are able to view all your content? That means they would have to log into my account, no? The video that was removed was not posted anywhere publically.

Anyone here ever experience this with photobucket before? BTW, I am currently uploading video again.

This is invasion of privacy, sort of like an administrator logging into your personal account thing, no?

I have had many pics deleted, and even had my accounts deleted

completely twice for violating their TOS

( but I knew I was pushing it with what I had on there )

It was my own fault, not Photobucket's. I violated their TOS,

so they had every right to take action.

Both of those accounts were marked private also.

It's not an invasion of privacy if it goes against the terms of service you agreed to when you signed up (that nobody bothers to read). And administrators usually have the power to edit anything you post, upload, or any other profile info.

Is it the 'coon video?

No, it was something else.

It's not an invasion of privacy because you uploaded your content on to their system. Just like when people use their work email to send personal messages. The employer has every right to go through all the company email.

Nothing is private or personal when you use the Internet!

There are rules on all sites, just like this one! And the administrator has full rights to do as they please after all that's why they are called the Administrator. Sucks but it's true.

Photobucket doesn't like some of the photo's that I uploaded. I guess they had to much camel toe. There were a few on this site that got to see my avatar though. :D

I just don't see what tey care, nor how they see them. I can see if one was posted and made public. I mean in order to see the pics and vids, they would have to log into my personal account, right? My pics are only visible, if I choose to post them.

True, but when you post them, their name is in the URL.

They aren't logging into your account. When you upload something on their servers it's as much theirs as it is yours. When something is uploaded that is against their policy they don't have the time to see if you are just storing it there or posting it all over the internet, so they're just going to delete it.

You have to agree to their TOS when you sign up but nobody ever reads that stuff.

They do delete stuff. It's usually because of the name of the file. Upload a picture of your kitty cat and name it **** and they will delete it. I guess their bots roam everybody's files and search for certain words. The file below WAS named bouncing titties and they deleted it. I changed the name to running and it has been there ever since.
