Threw $900 at a Firestone shop and came away with correct alignment and these awesome tires.

 

Before: Stock, original 265/70R17 GY Wrangler AT/S

My alignment was off my multiple whole numbers...and the tires were dry rotting and had 50k on them. It was noisy, loping, shaking and I was having to babysit the tracking just to keep it on a straight road. Now it's quiet, smooth and straight...and corners about 900% easier and with less effort! It's like a whole different vehicle.

 

 

I highly recommend these!

not a bridgestone fan myself, but I hear the Revo's are great. I had the dueler at's on mine from stock 265-65-18 and they wore off in 7000 miles. Junk. They replaced them due to a possible defect and they did the same thing. Finally got some Wrangler Silent Armor's and they are wearing great. got 7000 miles on them and only used 4/32nds. Good luck with the new Revo's they look great.

Yeah, I've heard some horror stories about the OE Duelers...but these Revos are supposed to be absolutely awesome in just about every weather condition you can throw at them, and they have a 50,000 mile treadlife warranty..so I'm not TOO worried about it.

 

The Wrangler SilentArmors were my first choice before I learned of the Revo..I certainly hope I don't regret my decision, but so far, they're doing awesome! I just wish it was the rainy season still so I could really test them out!

You have to make sure you are getting the actual A/T Duelers. There a bunch of mostly onroad Duelers that come from the factory. The 693s and Revos are pretty good. The 693II and the 695s were onroad "A/T" tires. If I hadn't got my BFGs I was gonna get the Revos because I liked my 693s so much.

Never Ran Bridgestone, 50,000 mile rating sounds impressive for a A/T as I never got 50,000 out of any of my A/T's but then again I never ran Bridestone and Technology is much more advanced now days. Keep us posted on how they work out for yea..

Nice, hope they work out well for you.

 

I've heard a lot of good things bout them, my truck had the Revos on it when I bought it, and I only got about 35k out of them. I don't know how the previous owner rotated them, but I wasn't overly impressed with them. They did extremely well in the snow before they got worn down, but once the tread got low, they were AWFUL in wet weather.

I looked at these because they were much cheaper than BFG ATs when I started looking. I ended up getting mine for less than 900 which was cheaper than I could find the REVOs. Good tire though

Never had Bridgestones myself but the Revos are highly though of in all of the reviews I've seen. They are always near the top.

 

Keep us updated on them if you will.

Since your alignment was so far off, 50K miles seems to be pretty good for your Wrangler AT/S that you replaced. I have the same tires and wondered how many miles I could expect from them but it sounds like it shouldn't be any problem getting 50k miles or more out of them if I keep them rotated & balanced. Then again, I will probably become bored with my factory wheels before that and replace the wheels and tires. :lol:

 

I don't have any experience with the Revo's but it looks like a nice tire...congrats.

I've got almost 50K on my OEM 693II's and they still have decent tread left on them.

A buddy of mine just got a set of Revos on his 07 2500 Duramax and he loves them. He's almost got me talked into getting a set myself when I go tire shopping later this week.

The Revos for my Dmax were more expensive than the BFGs. So I went with the BFGs and they have not let me down in any situation yet. I was going to put the 693s on but they stopped making them and didn't have my size in stock when I got my tires.

I don't know anyone who ever got 50k out of a AT truck tire here. But we get lots of snow so once the tread gets down there the tires are worthless, even though they are still legal. I got 36k on my Cooper AT's, they are fine for a dry road but wont do much once the snow comes.

      You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.

      You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
