How Much Is This Truck Worth?

Ok, this is pertaining to my seperated wifes truck. She wants to trade vehicles because she can't afford the payment. I am seriously thinking about trading vehicles but money would be tight for me also. So, what do you think this truck is worth, in case I do trade her vehicles and then maybe I want to sell the truck outright. It is a 2006 gmc sierra crew cab SLT with the Z71 package. Has the leather, sunroof, xm radio, 17 inch wheels, it is loaded up. Mileage I am guessing is around 36,000. I did price it on edmunds, but with the truck market being the way it is, I wanted your guys opinion.

I buy cars all day long for a living. (about 200 a month). You can take NADA retail or KBB good condition and knock off about 30% (up to 40% in some areas) for a clean truck and be close to top end of what they are actually selling for on the street.

 

Trucks are still a deal. The market is flooded and they are giving away new ones. There are still people ASKING big money for trucks, but they aren't selling for that. There are always dreamers.

Hopefully, I can stick her with the truck, it was a nice truck and all, but I sill wish I had my 01 pickup. She wanted a payoff of the truck and if I gave her that then she would agree. I think she is being a little greedy.

Price seems 'bout right. Trucks are abundant though.

You would not get 20K for that truck in my area, probably closer to 17k tops. I was offered 15,500 for my 2007 NBS Crew with 1oK miles about 2 months ago. Granted yours is 4wd and has a sunroof but there are tons of the used older body style trucks on all the lots and they are not selling..
