Not A Good Day...

I took today off work since it was the first anniversary of my Dad's passing, which makes it not a good day to begin with. I then had to take one of our house bunnies to the vet because he had a lump on his backside I couldn't identify. After looking at it with the vet, it is a cancerous tumor. So he has to go back in for surgery on Monday to remove the lump. Then a couple days back I got a call from my dealer that the accessories I ordered for the Tahoe arrived and I could come in on Friday to get them installed. So I dropped the truck off this morning to have the new wheels, mud flaps, roof carrier, new grill, and security system add-ons installed. I get a call late in the afternoon that the truck was done so I headed on down to the dealer. When I get there I can see the carrier, front mud flaps, and new grill (which looks good to me, pics are coming), but no wheels, wtf? I go and talk to the service manager and he tells me that they couldn't install the rear mud flaps because they did not fit the body properly (they're the molded ones), they didn't install the security modules because they found that the tilt sensor could be set off by the ride control system and are going to talk to GM engineering on that one, and they didn't install the wheels because only the wheels got shipped and not the lugs nuts, wheel caps, or pressure sensors that go with the wheels! Argh!

 

At least I can still get the truck in the garage with the roof carrier on...

but when everything is done it will be pretty sweet.. you will just appreciate that much more when you actually get it

Patience is a virtue. No, seriously, I do hate it when you get all geared up, and everything just doesn't go right. I hope you get everything eventually.
