Thanks to this site i believe i have found the slow coolant leak-(water pump gaskets)

But do have a leak in the front right axle seal-(4x4) it has been to dealer twice under warranty, they replaced the seal twice. Last time was at about 30k.Is there any permanent fix or solution to this ongoing problem? (now out of warranty at 45k)

Also have a slight engine oil leak at rear of engine-been that way since new.

Thanks again for info on water pump gaskets-

Check your last axle seal repair paperwork, the dealership usually warrants their workmanship for a period of time. Sometimes the parts they replace carry a lifetime, you just need to pay for labor.

oil leak in the rear usually is rear main, but it could just be a loose pan. I had a oil cooler line that leaked and ran the top rail until it got to the back of the center to drain. Take it to a car wash with the bottom blaster, than crawl under there when you get home. Good luck on the water pump gasket. I did one on my 02 Avy 5.3l. Once all the cool plastic was out of the way, it's just an old small block under there. I think it took me about 1 hour start to finish, but then I have some experience with water pumps...

i had the same problem with my 04' Z71, the solution I found was the diff vent pipe cap was hanging upside down and plugged full of mud. Removed the cap cleaned it and put it up under the wiring harness, no more axle seal leak :)

as found, sorry crappy pic

I did the same exact thing but found no mud,it was hanging down though, took the cap off blew thru the hose and tucked it inder wire harness as you did.Seal is still leaking quite a while after i did that. But thanks for the idea and the great pics! I guess im leaning towards another seal.Maybe a different brand other than GM would ride in a different spot.
