I was wondering if anyone has purchased one with any good results.  They talk a good game but still not sold on it, especially when it cost $200.

this is an electro magnet they have been selling regular (permement magnets) that u put arround your fuel line for a wile now, the regular ones do not create the fuel economy they claim to

 

one set claimed a 25% increase in in fuel econemy, when u got the kit it included instructions such as reduce your speed, use cruise control, use as little throttle as possible to accelerate etc

 

if u drove full throttlre all the time and then drove with those tips u mat see a 25% increase in fuel economy, verry little (if any) of this from the magnets,

 

this particular one would reduce your fuel economy by increasing the load on your alternator

 

if u want to try this find a set of small hemispherical magnets from a small electric motor (old tape player ect) and snap them arround your fuel line, cannot hurt and may help some ( verry little)

 

 

GM is required by law to keep thier fleet average at or above 27 MPG if this had any merit they would have done it a long time ago from the factory

 

another thing is yor fuel pump creates a magnetic field this addition would probably be redundant
