Alright guys, finished debadging the truck yesterday, will get some pics up soon. Wanting to start a little custom headlight project. Any of you guys get custom headlights and still have your stocks lying around? If so I would be interested in buying. Thanks

What are you planning on doing? I've worked on my stockers and am in the process of changing up the aftermarkets now. I'm keeping my stockers but if you have any questions about working on the lights, I'd be happy to help.

Well I am actually going to pull them apart and paint them. When all is said and done, they will have a Corvette-ish look to them, here is a pic :

No, i wish this was my truck lol. Thats actually a guy off of Cardomain.com. His screen name is Scarlet. I give props to him for these pictures. But yeah, I love the concept, I have spoke with another guy who did the same thing and it seems pretty simple. And the thing about it is, it would look good on any truck, no matter your paint color. Have been wondering what they would look like painted on a white truck.

Don't know if you've seen either of these but they're very informative. When you get your lights apart, do not try to mask the chrome. They are only vacuum chromed and the chrome will peel off. You have to cut the part to be painted away from the housing.

No, I had not seen either of those!!! But i think you just made my life a little easier lol. How hard was it for you to do?

It'll take at least probably 3-4 hours to do plus dry time, but it's not that difficult. I've had my two sets open probably 6 or seven times now.

Alright guys, headlight off of ebay came in the mail today, gonna start cutting on it tonight. I think im going to possibly clear it instead of doing the custom paint job mostly because i wanna start simple then maybe paint later
