Some outdoorsy folks I used to work with swear by these seat covers.  They buy high-end trucks (Toyota Landcruiser, etc) then put these covers on so they can go mountainbiking etc without screwing up the fancy seats.  They seem to last forever, and fit great, but i haven't owned a set myself.

That company is out of Hawaii, and the covers are like wet suit material.  A lot of kayakers and river guides around here have them.  I still like the saddle blanket style, but the Okole looks good on the Big Blaze they are rebuilding on "Trucks!", on TNN.
