I want to get a present for myself. Im looking to get new shocks for my zr2. Im looking at the Sky Jacker 7000 or the Pro Comp 1000 shocks.

 

Which ones do you think would be better for all around driveing?

ProComp doesn't make any of their own stuff. I believe all of it is just remarketed "various other brand" products. I've been told this by various suppliers. That might be good - or bad. I had a Sky Jacker lift with their shocks on my white Jeep. It rode pretty rough but that was likely more from the springs than the shocks. Never had any problems with them at all.

 

KYB gets my vote.

 

Bilstein, Rancho, and others are worthy of checking into as well.
