Vents Blow Lots Of Air On The Highway

So I've identified my biggest issue with the Silverado so far... the air vents blow a LOT of air on the highway, when the system is turned off. When stopped, no air comes through unless I turn the fan on. I can fix this by setting it to recirculate the air, but the damn computer only lets me do that in certain situations, and it will randomly switch it back to outside air periodically

 

Does anyone else's NBS truck do this, or is mine defective? It seems like the blower door isn't closing so at speed all the rushing air just comes in through the vents to the cab. It's about the same amount of air as if it were on a setting of 2 with the fan on.

Mine only does that if I push the vent button. Half the time I just use that instead of setting the climate control.

my truck does it too but if I hit recirculate it stays. Or I switch it to the windshield and it doesn't bother me any more.

Yea but the problem is I adjust the heat so I am comfortable at speed, but when I come to a stop I start to get cold since the air flow has stopped.

I discovered mine does the same thing on the last road trip I took. I never noticed it during the summer, but there was still a LOT of air blowing, even with the system fully off. If i had it on heat when i shut it off, it blew hot air. if it was set to cold when i shut it off it blew cold. Again, this was with the system fully off. and i experienced the same thing. the recirc would stop this, but it's only able to be turned on in certain situations, and if i shut the system off, the air would start blowing again. Guess it's time to go visit the dealer.

My truck blows air like that. It's done it since day one too. I've been meaning to mention it but it's got to go into the dealer for a vibration anyway.
