88 C1500 w\ 305-TBI , Which Breather Filter?

The breather filter and hose was missing when i bought my truck last week, and I can't find one anywhere...I have connected a temporary hose to a grommet in the breather hole on the valve cover for now....

The one at Advance shows the same one that most GM's and Chevy's use mounted in the air cleaner, but there's no hole in the air cleaner assembly for it..

The hole that connects to mine is connected directly to the throttle body spacer ring...

Any help is appreciated....Pics would be great...

Thank you, Andy

That's how mine is. The breather hose doesn't connect to the air cleaner housing, it connects to the collar around the throttle body. There is no filter on my either.

You could also plug the hole in the throttle body collar and then get a universal breather filter for the valve cover.

Ahh , OK..Thanks....BTW , when I bought the truck , the hose was missing and oil was shooting out the breather hole in the valve cover...Glad to know a grommet and hose is all it needs.....
