Dash Kit

Hi everyone, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone has updated their 2002 Trailblazer yet with a dash kit. I am thinking about adding one to spruce up the interior. I am not sure if I want wood or if carbon fiber would look better.

Anybody install one yet? If so what kind and do you happen to have any pictures?

Glad I found this forum and hope to be able to learn and help someone out someday.

get carbon fiber

wood just doesn't do it for me, its more suited for vans and luxury cars

http://www.stylinconcepts.com has some pics. They show some woodgrain, carbon fiber and brushed aluminum kits just for comparisons. I think it all depends on the look you are going for, and the color of the interior has a lot to do with which ones for the right look and contrast with the different kits and interior color combinations.

Black and grey look nice with carbon fiber or aluminum for a performance look. I think the woodgrain would go best with a tan or biege.

Carbon fiber or aluminum with beige interior might not look right.

If you are going show with a blower and stuff, woodgrain might be a little off.

Well, that site has the 3 kits for Yukons, but just wood for Trailblazers. I'm sure if you look around there are some links to some examples or someone will post some.

Thanks for the suggestions. Exoticwooddashes.com has a molded pieces for the Trailblazer that comes in carbon fiber or wood. They only show a picture of the wood.

My interior is dark pewter. I have sent for samples from them to see what might look better. If someone has a picture of theirs in fiber with the same interior as mine (different truck OK) that would help.

the carbon fiber in any dark color would look good with that dark pewter. Nice contrast. I looked at the kit for mine, and I'm drawn to it in black/grey carbon fiber. Even the wood ones look real nice, but I don't know if wood goes with grey all that well, plus mnes more performance theme, and the wood is more luxury oriented. There are some nice kits there. Too bad they don't show the whole kit in all the colors in the photos, just the wood. (!)
